Location: Phoenix, AZ
Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a senior consultant to our team covering the western United States and operating out of our Phoenix, AZ office.
The position requires an individual with a proven track record building and managing a captive consulting practice. The successful candidate will be required to develop new consulting and captive management opportunities, lead feasibility and implementation studies, and provide on-going strategic and technical advice to captive Board of Directors. You will be required to work collaboratively within our consulting practice and support our western region management operations. This position will require frequent travel throughout the western US to meet with clients and partners of SRS and to participate in captive Board meetings.
To be considered candidates must have the following minimum qualifications:
- At least 10 years experience in captive insurance consulting, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management or business development role.
- Strong presentation skills and a proven ability to consult to C-level executives on captive insurance.
- An entrepreneurial attitude with prior experience successfully building a captive consulting practice.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent computer skills with Excel and other software programs.
- A bachelors or Master’s degree with a concentration in a business related field.
- An insurance (CPCU, ARM equivalent) or captive (ACI) related designation.
