Account Manager – Bermuda

Location: Bermuda

SRS is looking to add an experienced insurance accounting professional to manage the financial and regulatory affairs of a portfolio of Bermuda domiciled captive insurance companies and commercial reinsurance companies.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements.
  • Prepare reports to management.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Prepare working paper files for review by manager and peer reviewer.
  • Manage the relationship with clients and other SRS team members.
  • Manage the relationship with other service providers.
  • Plan, organize and control the audit process.
  • Review and when necessary, amend Board minutes.
  • Liaise with management on client fees and time reporting.
  • Maintain all SSAE16 internal audit documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered candidates must have at least the following minimum qualifications:

  • A recognized professional designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA).
  • A minimum of 2 years of captive management experience.
  • Good knowledge of insurance and investment accounting.
  • Ability to research complex insurance, investment or tax matters.
  • Knowledge of Bermuda regulatory matters.
  • Ability to control and lead client meetings.
  • Knowledge and understanding of various insurance policies.
  • Knowledge and experience of using SUN would be an asset.
